We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant with expertise in pelvic floor and orthopedic rehabilitation to join our dedicated team.

The Position:

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for our diverse patient population. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to promoting overall health and well-being

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to assess and evaluate patients with pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a focus on pelvic floor and orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation.
